Who am I?
Why am I a personal trainer?
I
I have been involved in fitness, and competitive sport for most of my life. I first starting coaching in 2014, for a grassroot youth football team, where I gained experience of coaching individuals on a personal basis.

I started boxing in 2017, mainly to improve my fitness for football. However, I soon found that boxing not only increased my fitness levels, but also helped to improve my overall mental wellbeing too.

During lockdown in July 2020 I began to train a few friends, in a class format. However, after seeing some snippets of progress from them relating to their physical, and mentall wellbeing, I chose to invest in a career in personal training.

Since then I have built a personal training business, and have heloed over 100 clients deliver results to improve both their physical, and mental wellbeing.

My aim is to have a positive impact on as many lives as possible. Whether this is guiding a novice boxer to their first fight, or to improve someones mental wellbeing by improving their confidence levels, and self esteem, everyone's journey, is as important as the other.
I want to transform people’s attitudes towards exercise, moving away from the stigma that exercise isn’t fun and it’s all about burning calories. I can assure you that it is not, exercise has many benefits such as helping to build your confidence, improve fitness and mental health, which are only a few of a long list of benefits!

In order to achieve sustainable results, it is vital to understand that nutrition plays a key role in this. There is a lot of misleading information being spread across various social media platforms, misinforming people, and along the way taking their money. The plans my clients are on are tailored to them as an individual, with a no bulls**t approach, and maximum empathy.

Making a Positive Impact
Giving back to my community
I’m still an active amateur boxer, and I’m looking to have more fights over the next few years - I’ll keep you posted on when!
However, for now, I’m looking forward to coaching other boxers and to give back to people the time, effort and enthusiasm that made me get the feel for the sport.

Alongside boxing training I enjoy high intense sessions, whether this is in a cardiovascular form or strength and conditoning, I like to push myself and improve my own physical and mental wellbeing!
